Note from Gary Kusch: I have seen some sources (including the Indiana web) which list the same score you have for the Butler game, but articles in the Goshen Daily News and the Rochester Daily Republican say the game, played 10/15 in Bloomington, ended in a general row when the referee disallowed a kicked goal which Indiana said was good, and thus gave Butler a 10-6 win. I found nothing suggesting that this ruling may have been later overturned, but evidently Indiana claims the win. The Butler web gives the 10-6 score. My source lists Indiana losing to Wabash 24-36 (again some sources list the opposite score including the Indiana web), and a game article in the Logansport Journal confirms this saying Wabash defeated Indiana 36-24 in a game played 11/19 in Crawfordsville. The article goes on to state that this loss gave Indiana last place in the Indiana Intercollegiate league.

Note from Gary Kusch: The second game of the 9/28 doubleheader with Ohio is confusing. Virtually every newspaper scoreboard I checked out listed Ohio playing the Indiana Reserves. Articles leading up to the game and on the game itself are inconclusive. One article described it strictly as Indiana playing a doubleheader with no reference about one involving its reserve team. One article said that Indiana used a mixture of first stringers and subs for the Ohio game. Another pointed out the coach was tasked with designating two separate "A" teams. And yet another described it as it as Indiana "losing a reserve contest to Ohio." The Ohio web lists the game as do most sources I am familiar with (including my primary source). The Indiana media guide is even more schizophrenic: on its year-by-year listing of scores, this game is not listed for 1929, but in its opponents list, the games played with Ohio include the 1929 game. Paint me right now as undecided, but I'm trending to think this game should not be counted.

Note from Gary Kusch: Indiana played a 0-0 tie with Illinois and advanced to a game with Chicago based on most first downs. They then defeated Chicago 6-0. Both games played 11/26 in Chicago.
